About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer with strong Temporal Workflow expertise to design, build, and support scalable distributed applications and workflow orchestration platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in Java-based microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and workflow automation using Temporal.

This role involves working closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver highly resilient, cloud-native solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern backend frameworks.
- Build and implement workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal.




- Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems.
- Create robust APIs and integrations across internal and external platforms.
- Design fault-tolerant, event-driven architectures with high availability and resiliency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance optimizations.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Java 11/17+.
- Proven experience with Temporal Workflow Engine including:
- Workflow and Activity development
- Long-running business processes
- Workflow orchestration and state management
- Error handling, retries, and compensation patterns
- Temporal SDK implementation and troubleshooting

Strong experience with:

- Spring Boot
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices Architecture
- Event-Driven Systems
- Multi-threading and Concurrency
- Experience with messaging technologies such as:
- Kafka
- RabbitMQ
- JMS
- Strong understanding of:
- Distributed Systems
- Design Patterns
- Scalability and Performance Optimization
- API Security and Authentication

Cloud & DevOps Experience

- Experience with one or more cloud platforms:
- AWS (preferred)
- Azure

Hands-on experience with:
