**Role Description<

This is a full-time Senior Legal Assistant role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows work from home. The Senior Legal Assistant will support personal injury lawyers across various practice areas, including WorkCover, transport accident, public liability, and medical negligence matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and formatting legal documents, managing case files, scheduling appointments, coordinating correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves direct client contact, handling telephone and email inquiries, gathering information and documentation,



and ensuring a responsive and respectful client experience.

The Senior Legal Assistant will also assist with court filing processes, liaise with external stakeholders, and support lawyers in meeting deadlines and service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated experience working as a Legal Assistant or Senior Legal Assistant in a litigation or personal injury environment.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and managing correspondence, court forms, and file notes.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and clearly with clients, lawyers, and external stakeholders.
- Solid Administrative Assistance capabilities, including diary management, file organization, data entry, and proficiency with legal practice management software.
- High attention to detail, robust time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple matters concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in personal injury, compensation, or related legal fields is highly regarded.
- Relevant legal or paralegal qualifications, or substantial equivalent experience in a legal support role.
- Commitment to client service, confidentiality, and ethical conduct, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid office/work-from-home setting.**
