to join a well-established independent optometry practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

About the Role You’ll be an important part of the dispensing team,



helping patients find the right eyewear and providing the friendly, professional service the practice is known for. Your role will include:

Frame selection and styling

Lens recommendations and advice

Optical dispensing

Adjustments and repairs

Patient service and follow-up

General optical retail and practice duties

The practice currently uses

Sunix

and is planning to transition to

Optomate in early 2027 . Roster & Hours There is flexibility around the roster, including the opportunity to arrange

consecutive days off for a better work–life balance .

Monday–Friday:

generally 9:00am–5:30pm or 9:30am–5:30pm

Thursday:

9:30am–5:30pm or 10:00am–6:00pm

Saturday:

9:00am–2:00pm – ideally one Saturday per fortnight

Sunday:

10:00am–2:00pm

About the Practice Forestway Optometry is a well-established independent practice with an experienced team including:

2 part-time optometrists

3 part-time optical dispensers

A relaxed and friendly working environment

A strong focus on patient care and teamwork

Who We’re Looking For Ideally, you’ll have previous optical dispensing experience, although we’re also interested in hearing from people with the right attitude and customer service skills. You’ll be someone who is:

Warm, friendly and approachable

Confident dealing with patients

Comfortable working independently as well as within a team

Reliable and organised

Genuinely interested in helping patients choose the right eyewear

Looking for a stable role in a supportive practice
