Utilities Traffic Management - Melbourne VIC

We are seeking an experienced

Traffic Management Designer

to join an established traffic management business in Melbourne.

You will be responsible for preparing protected, practical and compliant

Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)

and

Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs)

across a variety of projects throughout Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare compliant TMPs and TGSs for a variety of projects and road environments

Review site and project requirements to develop practical traffic management solutions

Ensure designs comply with Austroads guidance, relevant standards, Codes of Practice and Victorian requirements

Undertake risk and hazard assessments and incorporate appropriate controls into designs

Liaise with clients, operations teams, councils, road authorities and other stakeholders

Coordinate permit applications and road occupancy requirements

Review and update designs as project or site requirements change

Deliver accurate, high-quality designs within required timeframes

About You





Current TMD1 and TMD2 qualifications - essential

TMD3 - highly regarded

Previous experience preparing TMPs and TGSs in Victoria

Strong knowledge of Austroads and Victorian traffic management requirements

Experience using

RapidPlan or similar design software

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Practical, safety-focused and solutions driven
