This role will train across all positions of our linehaul operations team with the goal of providing relief cover for other staff as required. We are looking for allocations experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sector, as well as exposure to fresh produce and overnight express freight As a Transport Allocator you will be responsible for: Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight. Meeting timeframes and time-slots is a critical aspect of this role Rostering and managing drivers to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipment Transparent communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff -





using WhatsApp to provide instructions to drivers Clear and timely communication with external and internal parties Monitoring COR and Fatigue Management Accurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipment Allocations experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sector Experience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight is highly desirable Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment Ability to work well in a team environment Full training will be provided- but you must be a go getter and learn on the fly!
