Labourpower is currently seeking an experienced General Quarry Operator to join a busy quarry operation based in Tooperang, SA.
This is a short-term assignment running from Monday 28 September to Friday 16 October, with the potential for additional assignments..
About the Role
- Monday to Friday, 7:15am - 4:00pm
- Occasional Saturday work may be required
- General quarry and site operations
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment
- Working in varying weather conditions
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety and site procedures
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in mining, quarry or civil operations
- Front End Loader ticket - MUST HAVE
- Dump Truck licence/ticket and experience - MUST HAVE
- Excavator ticket and experience - highly regarded
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
- Clear National Police Clearance
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- A robust commitment to workplace health and safety
Important Travel Requirement
Due to fatigue management requirements, applicants must live within approximately 50 minutes of the site.
