We are seeking a practical Engineering Technologist to join our technical team to support end-to-end technical delivery across our building projects, with key focus on building services systems including HVAC, gas, hydraulic, building service and building automation systems.

Duties:

- Review schematics, specifications and technical documentation for HVAC, gas, hydraulic and building automation systems to ensure compliance with building codes and site constructability.
- Perform technical assessments for building-service equipment; conduct pre-installation reviews, performance checks and identify potential technical risks.
- Create, update and verify engineering drawings, reports and specifications using CAD tools; maintain complete technical records for project hand-over and archiving.
- Deliver in office technical support for installation, integration and commissioning of building-service systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system technical issues, analyse root causes and propose compliant, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers,



supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to resolve technical discrepancies for building-service deliverables.
- Track technical progress of building-service works, verify compliance with design, specifications and WHS requirements through the full project lifecycle.
- Provide technical advice on equipment selection and configuration for commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams to balance system performance, constructability and budget for quality project outcomes.

Qualification:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience as an Engineering Technologist, with hands-on exposure to building-service equipment, MEP-related systems or technical-service environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Solid ability to read, interpret and revise engineering drawings and technical specifications for building mechanical and service systems.
- Strong practical problem-solving and organisational skills for multi-system building-services coordination.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across project delivery.
- Able to work independently and contribute constructively within a team environment.
