Seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead our back of house team

Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches we are looking for an experienced and driven QSR Kitchen Manager to lead the heart of our operation in Parramatta as we expand into the CBD

This is not your standard rapid-food management role.

We are looking for someone who understands high-volume food operations but refuses to compromise on quality, consistency or team culture. Someone who can lead from the front, get their hands dirty during service and take genuine ownership of the kitchen.

The Role

As Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the kitchen operation.

You will work closely with senior management to ensure Harvey's standards are consistently delivered while developing and leading a strong kitchen team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and motivating the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Managing daily food preparation and production
- Ensuring consistency across every sandwich and menu item
- Training, developing and mentoring kitchen staff

- Stock ordering, inventory and supplier management
- Maintaining exceptional food safety and cleanliness standards

- Driving speed, organization and quality during high-volume periods




- Assisting with the development and implementation of systems as the business expands

Who are you?

You are a natural leader who enjoys building strong teams and running an organised kitchen.

You will have:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Supervisor or senior kitchen leader
- Experience working in a high-volume QSR, café, sandwich bar or casual dining environment
- Strong understanding of food costing, stock control and kitchen labour management

- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A hands-on leadership style

- High standards for food quality, kitchen maintenance
- A genuine passion for QSR environment and interest to develop a growing brand.

Most importantly, you must understand that leadership starts on the floor. We want someone who leads by example and is willing to work alongside their team every day.
