Clearview Christian College is seeking a passionate and experienced Inclusive Education Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for coordinating the College's Inclusive Education program, ensuring that every student is supported to thrive in a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

The Inclusive Education Coordinator will work closely with staff, students, and families to provide holistic support for learners with diverse needs, including:

n

Students who are gifted and talented

n

Students with learning support needs

n

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students

n

Students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD)

n

This role will also require you to maintain a classroom teaching load (approx. 0.5) in accordance with timetabling requirements, tailored to your subject expertise and passions.

Salary Range: $84,078 - $123,102

Bachelor of Education (Secondary)

n

Certificate IV in School Based Education Support (Desired)

n

Clearview Christian College is a co-educational, independent high school in Boyne Tannum providing high-quality education centred on Christian values. Established in 2023 with its first cohort of Years 7 and 8 in 2023, Clearview currently offers Years 7-11 and will grow to offer Years 7-12 in 2027. Located less than 200 metres from the beach and nestled beside the Canoe Point parklands, our unique setting provides rich opportunities for highly engaging, hands-on teaching and learning experiences. Selection Criteria:

n





A current Queensland College of Teachers registration.

n

Bachelor of Education or Graduate Diploma of Education (coupled with other undergraduate degree level qualification).

n

Demonstrated excellent, current classroom teaching techniques and practices that meet diverse needs and learning styles of students and are consistent with relevant curriculum and policies.

n

Ability to create a culture of learning and achievement through effective planning, student management, classroom resource organisation and engaging learning strategies.

n

Demonstrated relevant experience in inclusive education and an ongoing commitment to professional development.

n

Exemplary qualified manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

n

Leadership and management skills to effectively implement the Inclusive Education Program in collaboration with Team and aligned with the vision expressed by the College Principal.

n

Highly organised, displaying exemplary work ethic, initiative, and prioritisation skills to effectively manage workload.

n

Proficient level of computer literacy with proven capacity in MS Office Suite, and other software/programs in common use for education.

n

The ability to demonstrate a Christian worldview and actively support the Christian ethos of the College.

n

A personal faith in Jesus Christ and an active and attending member of a local Christian Church

n
