About the role: You’ll be responsible for delivering practical training, coaching and competency assessments to production operators across a range of mobile mining equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
Training and assessing operators on
haul trucks, dozers, graders, water trucks, excavators and other mobile equipment
Conducting inductions, practical assessments and competency-based training
Delivering refresher training and operator upskilling
Assessing competency against relevant
RII units and site requirements
Maintaining accurate training and competency records
Working with supervisors and operational leaders to identify training needs
Promoting safe, compliant and effective operating practices
About you:
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40116
or current equivalent
Previous experience as a Mining Trainer, Assessor, Production Trainer or similar
Current RII competencies across mobile mining equipment
Strong knowledge of open cut mining and production operations
Excellent communication and coaching skills
The ability to build rapport with operators at varying experience levels
A strong commitment to safety, compliance and quality training outcomes
