Essential Requirements

Applicants must: Hold (or be actively working towards) a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

Hold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or be willing to obtain before commencement).

Demonstrate knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Have an understanding of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.

Demonstrate an understanding of child-protected practices, professional boundaries and safeguarding responsibilities.

Demonstrate respectful communication and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Show initiative, professionalism and a commitment to continuous learning.

Demonstrate respect for diversity and culturally responsive practice.

Experience in an early childhood setting is desirable but not essential for the right applicant. What We Offer
