Experienced Cocktail Bartender - KIN & AIRA Rooftop We are seeking an experienced and confident Bartender to join the team at KIN and AIRA Rooftop at The Point Hotel.

This role is suited to someone with a genuine background in cocktails and mixology, with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality drinks in a premium hospitality environment.

We are looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, understands classic cocktails, can work efficiently under pressure, and has solid attention to detail when it comes to presentation, garnish and service standards.

Previous experience in a cocktail bar, high-end restaurant or fine dining venue is strongly preferred.

The Role: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service across KIN, AIRA Rooftop and selected functions and events.

The role requires strong cocktail knowledge, attention to detail, consistency and the ability to work independently behind the bar during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing and serving classic and signature cocktails to a high standard

Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine and beverage service

Following cocktail specifications accurately and consistently

Maintaining high standards of presentation, garnish and glassware

Preparing the bar for service, including mise en place, garnishes and stock





Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across all bar areas

Monitoring stock levels and communicating replenishment requirements

Operating POS systems and handling payments

Providing professional and engaging guest service

Supporting restaurant, rooftop and event operations where required

About you: We are looking for someone who:

Has a minimum of 1 year previous experience in a cocktail-focused bar or restaurant setting

Has hands-on experience preparing a broad range of classic cocktails

Has a genuine interest in mixology, spirits and premium beverage service

Previous experience in fine dining, premium restaurants or high-end cocktail bars is highly regarded

Is confident working independently behind the bar

Is fast, organised and calm during busy service

Has strong attention to detail and presentation

Has excellent communication and guest service skills

Holds a current Queensland RSA

Is available to work evenings and weekends

Has a professional appearance and attitude

This role is best suited to candidates with strong cocktail-making experience and previous exposure to premium hospitality environments.
