Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join the Co-Rehabilitation Team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Key responsibilities include

- Provide senior clinical leadership within the Co-Rehabilitation Team, supporting patients across multiple inpatient areas at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and management for patients with rehabilitation for acute and subacute care needs.
- Optimise patient care delivery through advanced clinical decision-making and collaborative multidisciplinary practice.
- Support the mentoring, supervision and professional development of junior physiotherapists +/- students.
- Manage a diverse clinical caseload while contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.




- Work autonomously with minimal direct clinical supervision in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical workplace.

Ideal Candidate

- Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Availability to work Thursdays and Fridays from 08:00AM to 04:30PM.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and clinical skills in rehabilitation physiotherapy.
- Experience managing patients with complex acute, subacute and rehabilitation needs.
- Proven ability to provide clinical supervision, leadership and support to junior staff.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and adapt to changing clinical demands.
