The Senior Revenue Assurance Officer is a key position that provides support to the Manager, Revenue Assurance & Improvement in the delivery of the Private Practice Assurance Program to facilitate organisational revenue goals for clients within Children’s Health Queensland. As well as assisting the Manager in providing revenue advice to a wide-range of stakeholders that ensures both compliant practices and the maximisation of Own Source Revenue.

About The Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:

- Maintain up to date knowledge and interpret legislative frameworks of private practice revenue policies, procedures and guidelines including new developments, legislation and industry standards.
- Coordinate consultant on-boarding for providers with a signed Granted Private Practice Agreement with Medicare and health insurers to ensure their ability to claim benefits for privately electing patients.
- Provide technical revenue advice in relation to own source revenue and high-level support to clients within and external to CHQHHS.
- Extract raw data, prepare, conduct and record testing results as part of the Private Practice Assurance Program as directed by the Manager, Revenue Assurance & Improvement.
- Identify information needs and respond to stakeholder requests for information by appropriately gathering, sourcing and analysing information and producing reports as requested.
- Co-ordinate, manage, prioritise and maintain the official email account for CHQ Revenue Assurance.
- Assist with the implementation of any recommendations proposed as a result of findings generated from the Private Practice Assurance Program.
- Assist with any other ad-hoc projects or requirements as directed by the Manager, Revenue Assurance & Improvement.
- Develop,



deliver & evaluate resources and materials that promote the accurate and effective generation of own source revenue.
- Maintain well-developed technical skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications, HBCIS, ESM, MediRecords and other hospital specific systems, which assist with the provision of administrative support to patient services.
