One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Salesforce Developer - EL1

1. Contract Duration: 03 Years (12 Months initially + 24 Months extension)
2. Work Location: Canberra based candidates will require (Onsite - 5 days a week)
3. Work from home Arrangement: Min consecutive 02 Days a month from Canberra office (Own Expense)
4. Eligibility: You must need to have NV1 Security Clearance or above.
5. Tentative Start Date: 7th Dec 2026
6. Working Hours: 8 hours a day/ 40 hours a week

As a Salesforce Developer you will be required to:

- Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
- Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
- Translate application designs into functional configurations and code, in line with development and configuration standards.
- Support quality assurance and release management operations to ensure artefacts can be properly tested and deployed.
- Produce design, solution and technical documentation as required by the project.

Specialist Salesforce skills are sought in the following key technology areas:

- Demonstrated experience to design, build and deliver enterprise level integrated solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring Salesforce. Ability to build/ modify custom Objects, Flows, Permission sets, sharing and other related configuration and settings.
- Advanced demonstrated experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omnistudio, Aura, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
- Demonstrated experience in tracking and troubleshooting errors in development and configuration.




- Public Sector Solutions and Experience cloud.
- Experience in using version control and advanced CI/ CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practice and functionality.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Omni Studio Developer/ Consultant.

Key duties and responsibilities: As a Salesforce developer, you will implement and deliver solutions to meet clients’ business requirements in a project delivery team. You will collaborate with the Solution Lead to prepare designs. You will use out-of-the-box features and configuration to maximise value and sustainability and meet best practice when customising with code.

You will work closely with the business analyst to ensure that your releases meet business requirements and acceptance criteria and work closely with the tester to ensure your releases meet quality assurance standards. You will work with the release manager to perform releases through the DevOps pipeline and meet quality standards at each step.

This is a delivery and ongoing support role with the following responsibilities:

Essential Criteria:

- Minimum 3+ years in performing Salesforce development.
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Omni Studio Developer/ Consultant.
- Demonstrated experience to design, build and deliver enterprise level integrated solutions and follow Salesforce best practices
- Demonstrated experience in configuring Salesforce.
- Ability to build/ modify custom Objects, Flows, Permission sets, sharing and other related configuration and settings.
- Advanced demonstrated experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omnistudio, Aura, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
- Public Sector Solutions and Experience cloud.
- Experience in using version control and advanced CI/ CD tooling.

Desirable Criteria:

- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II or any Salesforce Architect Certification like Data Designer/ Sharing and Visibility Designer.
- Certified Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant.
