People8 has partnered with a highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer within its Built Environment team.

This is an prospect for an experienced structural engineer to take ownership of building projects, work directly with clients and contribute to a team recognised for strong technical engineering and collaborative delivery.

Our client is an established engineering consultancy providing civil, structural and flood engineering services. The business has built its reputation around technical excellence, practical engineering solutions and close collaboration with clients and project partners.

This position sits within the structural engineering team and will suit someone who enjoys remaining technically involved while taking greater responsibility for project delivery, client relationships and supporting other engineers.

Requirements





- Degree-qualified Structural or Civil Engineer with strong structural design experience in the built environment
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering building structures in a consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles and relevant Australian Standards
- Ability to coordinate structural packages and work effectively with architects, contractors, clients and other engineering disciplines
- Strong communication skills with the capability to review work and provide technical guidance to other engineers
