Position: Hairdresser

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $82,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Surry Hills NSW 2010

Our client is seeking Hairdresser to join their salon located in Surry Hills, New South Wales.

As a Hairdresser you will continue to provide high-quality hairdressing services to clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met with precision and care. You will utilize your expertise to deliver haircuts, colouring, styling, and hair treatments, while also maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth and reputation of the salon by offering excellent customer service and promoting our products and services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·Continue providing a range of hairdressing services, including haircuts, colour treatments, styling, and haircare services.

·Conduct follow-up consultations with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and adjust services based on their evolving needs.

·Offer expert recommendations for suitable hairstyles, colour treatments, and hair care based on clients’ individual hair types and conditions.

·Stay updated with the latest hairdressing trends, techniques, and products to deliver the best services.

·Ensure all workstations remain clean, organized, and hygienic to provide a qualified environment.





·Foster long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction with every visit.

·Promote and educate clients on salon products and services, making personalized recommendations for hair care.

·Maintain accurate and updated client records for each visit, tracking preferences and services provided.

·Collaborate effectively with other team members to maintain a positive, supportive, and professional salon atmosphere.

·Adhere to salon policies and procedures, ensuring consistent delivery of services.

Requirements:

·Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in Hairdressing

·A minimum of three (3) years of relevant hairdressing experience

·Proven ongoing experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of cutting, colouring, and styling.

·In-depth knowledge of hair care treatments and salon products.

·Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Ability to adapt to changing client preferences and industry trends.

·Professional and creative with attention to detail.

·Relevant licenses and certifications (as required by local regulations).

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
