A leading construction company in the South Pacific is inviting applications from Site Managers / builders, and Plumbers, to support an expanding workbook.

These are full-time in country roles in the Solomon Islands or PNG, offering the prospect to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with a talented team.

What you'll be doing
n
Manage / supervise construction projects (or plumbing installations for the plumbing role) on projects ranging in value from $10m - $100m+.
n
Oversee and direct the work of a local workforce to achieve quality and safety standards.
n
Design coordination - ability to interpret drawings and specifications and identify constructability problems ahead of time.
n
Ensure that construction / plumbing work is performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
n
Collaborate with in house teams - management staff, administrators and engineers to ensure efficient project delivery.
n
Assist in the planning and scheduling of work on site.
n
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
n
What we're looking for
n
10+ years of proven experience as a builder or plumber, with positive knowledge of AS/NZS standards.
n
Strong foundational knowledge in building or plumbing (preferably on complex or large scale projects).
n
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
n
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
n
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
n
Willingness to work in remote, international locations.
n
