Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Drafting Team Leader to join our growing organisation and play a key role in the successful delivery of major building services projects.

This position is responsible for leading a team of BIM professionals while ensuring the effective production, coordination, and delivery of high-quality mechanical services models and documentation. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, site teams, and clients to support project outcomes from design through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of BIM Coordinators and Drafters
n
- Oversee project resource planning and workload distribution across multiple projects
n
- Manage BIM deliverables, model development, and drawing production activities
n
- Drive project coordination and clash resolution processes
n
- Ensure project models and documentation comply with company standards and client requirements
n
- Conduct quality reviews of models, drawings, and project deliverables
n
- Support the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows
n
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives
n
- Monitor project progress and assist in meeting key delivery milestones
n
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
n

About You

n

n
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in Mechanical Services BIM and Drafting
n
- Proven experience leading or supervising BIM, VDC, or drafting teams
n




- Advanced Revit MEP skills with strong modelling capability
n
- Experience using Navisworks, Revizto, and BIM coordination platforms
n
- Robust understanding of BIM processes, model management, and clash detection
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments
n
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
n
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
- Relevant Mechanical Services, Building Services, or Drafting qualifications
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Hospital or healthcare project experience
n
- Experience working within live construction environments
n
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
n
- Experience developing BIM standards, templates, and best practices
n
- Exposure to prefabrication and digital construction methodologies
n
