Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. The College is seeking to appoint an energetic, well-organised and experienced Canteen Assistant to join the Canteen team. Should enjoy interacting with staff, students and parent volunteers. This casual position is term-time only and training will start in Term 4, 2026.

The Canteen team values collaboration and is committed to delivering friendly, personalised service both in-store and online to all customers.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will:





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a solid focus on customer service
- Effectively use Point of Sale software and EFTPOS
- Maintain positive working relationships
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to take initiative and follow processes and procedures
- Experience in a canteen/food service environment in a similar role highly desirable
- An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of the College
- A current Working with Children Check (or be prepared to obtain one prior to commencement) and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people.
