The role
n You'll deliver and assess the RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design to international students, create an engaging and inclusive classroom, and uphold assessment and compliance standards.

n

The role includes lesson preparation, assessment marking, student support, and industry-aligned learning.

n

Holder of RII60520 (or higher in the same field).

n

TAE40116 or TAE40122 (or diploma/higher in adult education).

n

Minimum 5 years recent industry experience in civil construction design and demonstrable industry currency.

n

Proven experience delivering and assessing relevant qualifications.

n

Sound knowledge of the principles of assessment & rules of evidence.

n





Effective classroom management, time management and communication skills.

n

Confident computer skills; LMS (Moodle or similar) experience highly desirable.

n

Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning workplace and support learners with varying English proficiency.

n

International cohort experience highly regarded.

n

Experience mapping and validating assessment tools for RII60520.

n

Familiarity with civil design software and standards (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d, Australian Standards).

n

Experience with CRICOS compliance and supporting international student success.

n

Evidence of recent CPD and industry engagement.

The casual hourly rate is a clock-hour rate, which includes the 25% casual loading and is paid for all rostered teaching, preparation, marking, meetings and administrative work.
