About the role As an English Teacher at Hillbrook, you will inspire and engage students across Years 7-12 while contributing to a culture of academic excellence, wellbeing and belonging. Teaching both Junior and Senior English, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences, support student growth, and help shape innovative and engaging curriculum programs.

reflective and relationship-focused, with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing.

To be successful, you will have:

A Bachelor qualification in Education with a specialisation in English

Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)

Recent experience teaching Junior and Senior English

Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and contemporary educational practices

Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

A commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families and colleagues

A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the School, including co-curricular and Outdoor Education programs

A demonstrated commitment to child safety and student wellbeing
