Primary Key Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate a

SYIL X9 CNC mill with Siemens 828D controls .

Machine prototype parts, custom manifolds, and cooling loops to standard engineering tolerances.

Work with a range of materials, primarily focusing on

316 Stainless Steel

and

Aluminum .

Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications independently.

Collaborate closely with engineers, fabricators, and assemblers to ensure continuous workflow.

What We Are Looking For

Trade Qualification:

Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter / Machinist) or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum

3

years of hands-on experience

setting up and operating CNC milling machinery.

Siemens Controls Mastery:

Hands-on experience operating/programming

Siemens 828D controls

(this is a key requirement for the role).

Material Expertise:

Proven experience machining stainless steel (316) and aluminum efficiently.

Mindset:

Autonomous, adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced prototype workplace, and willing to assist across broader workshop tasks where needed.
