Have you delivered TMR projects in the $20M–$50M range and want your next move to give you access to larger, more complex infrastructure?
This is an opportunity to join an established Queensland civil contractor that is actively expanding its transport infrastructure portfolio and building the capability to deliver increasingly larger TMR projects.
They already have a robust delivery team in place.
What they want now is another experienced Civil Project Manager who can bring proven TMR capability, take ownership of projects, and grow with the business as its project portfolio scales.
The Opportunity You will take responsibility for the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across South East Queensland, managing performance from mobilisation through to completion.
You will have control across:
Project planning, programming and delivery
Cost control, forecasting and commercial performance
Head contract administration
Procurement and subcontractor management
Leadership of engineering and site teams
TMR client and stakeholder relationships
HSEQ, quality and project compliance
Design coordination and constructability
Risk, opportunity and programme management
This is not a role where you simply manage reporting and attend meetings.
You will be expected to understand what is happening on the ground, maintain control of the commercial position and lead your team to deliver.
Who We Want You are likely already operating as a Civil Project Manager with approximately 3–5 years' PM-level experience and a strong contractor-side background.
Ideally, you will bring:
Degree qualification in Civil Engineering
Proven delivery of TMR road infrastructure projects
Experience managing projects typically valued around $20M–$50M
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Experience managing Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors
Strong programme and cost-control capability
Procurement and subcontract management experience
Understanding of staging, traffic management and live-road environments
Strong TMR stakeholder and client management skills
Previous contractor-side TMR experience is essential.
