CSK Services is a NSW civil construction company delivering earthworks, piling and plant hire on some of the state's largest infrastructure projects. We work as a trusted subcontractor to Tier 1 head contractors — on major projects.

We're looking for an experienced Civil Construction Manager to take ownership of delivery across our projects — from mobilisation through to completion and handover.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit in an office and wait to be told what the site needs. We want a senior construction professional who takes overall responsibility for getting the work out — programme, cost, quality, plant, crews, subcontractors, WHS and the client relationship on the ground. You're the person who knows what's happening across the job, spots the problem before it bites, and acts.

What you'll be responsible for

- Overall delivery of civil, earthworks and piling packages from mobilisation to practical completion and handover
n
- Managing programmes, milestones, plant, crews and the critical path
n
- Leading and coordinating site teams, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
n
- Construction sequencing, productivity and day-to-day site operations
n
- Controlling cost — budgets, forecasts, variations, progress claims and procurement, and protecting margin
n
- Managing subcontractor and plant performance,



and resolving issues quickly and effectively

- Holding the relationship with our Tier 1 clients, superintendents, consultants and authorities on site
n
- Delivering to our ISO-certified systems — ITPs, SWMS, environmental controls and QA
n
- Identifying risk early and driving practical solutions before they hit programme, cost or quality

About you

n

n
- Significant experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager or Senior Site/Project Engineer in civil construction
n
- Proven delivery of complex civil works — earthworks, bulk civil, utilities or transmission
n
- Experience delivering as a subcontractor to Tier 1 head contractors, and working to their safety, quality and reporting standards
n
- Strong commercial and contractual understanding
n
- Solid programme and cost management skills
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian civil construction, WHS and quality requirements
n
- The confidence to have the difficult conversation when performance needs to be addressed
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach, and the ability to work autonomously while keeping the Directors properly informed
n
- Construction White Card, current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
n
- Relevant civil or construction qualifications viewed favourably — track record matters more
