Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator

Elanora, Gold Coast - On-site | Permanent part time | 30-35 hours | Monday to Friday | $35 - $40 per hour + super

Shepherd Filters is looking for someone to help look after our existing customers, follow up sales opportunities and keep things organised.

This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support and administration.

You don't need experience in our industry. If you've worked in account management, internal sales, customer service, hospitality sales or sales support, we'd like to hear from you.

The role You'll work alongside our Business Development Manager and Customer Order & Supplier Administrator.

Your day could include:

Calling and building relationships with existing customers

Following up reorders, quotes, samples and opportunities

Responding to enquiries and solving customer problems

Preparing quotes and customer correspondence

Keeping our CRM and customer records up to date

Helping with orders, invoicing and shipments when needed

Making sure tasks are followed through and completed

This is not a high-pressure sales role, but you do need to be comfortable picking up the phone, talking with customers and asking for an order when appropriate.

Is confident making customer follow-up calls

Uses common sense and looks for solutions

Is organised and accurate

Can manage several priorities at once

Follows things through without constant reminders

Enjoys working in a small team and helping where needed

You don't need to be an aggressive salesperson or a career administrator.

You do need to be someone who can have the customer conversation, help get the result and then make sure the details are taken care of.
