We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Waitstaff to join our busy Italian restaurant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.

About the Role

As a Senior Wait Staff member, you will play an important role in the smooth running of our front-of-house operations. You will be responsible for taking orders, preparing and serving drinks, running food and assisting the wider team during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet and provide friendly, professional service to customers
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and serve drinks, including coffees, soft drinks and other beverages
- Run food and drinks to tables efficiently
- Ensure food and drinks are presented correctly
- Check on customers throughout their dining experience
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist other waitstaff and support the team during busy periods
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Handle customer requests and resolve issues professionally




- Help ensure smooth service from opening through to closing
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment
- Senior waitstaff or section-leading experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- Confident using a POS system
- Reliable, punctual and well-presented
- A positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Ability to multitask and stay organised during busy services
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required

Pay: $29.00 – $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 – 18.0 per week
