Banneton Bakery is looking for a robust Barista/Wait Person.
A casual position is just about to open.
The ideal candidate must appreciate and understand what great food and service is about.
Banneton Bakery is a specialised Sourdough Bakery/Cafe/Patisserie with 3 locations in Brisbane.
The position is for Ashgrove.
This is not a traditional cafe as we operate as a Bakery/Cafe.
This means that no food is cooked on site.
A combination of retail sales (Bread/Pastries) and savoury food to be re-heated on site is our main offering.
Coffee sales are also an intricate part of the products, either as a takeaway or dine in.
As a staff member, the main duties involve :
- Following general procedures such as Opening, Closing, Merchandising.
- Coffee Quality and consistency.
- Efficiency of service and Cleanliness of the premisses.
No night work is involved, but one day on weekends and early mornings starts are part of the gig.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Strong Barista skills. Appreciate good food.
- Be Customer Service/Retail focused.
- Be fully accountable for their roles and dependable.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, staff members and management.
- Not be afraid to work hard and be proud of what they do.
