United Fluid Power is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Coordinator to join our South West team.
Working across refineries, mine sites and port facilities, you'll be responsible for scoping, quoting, planning and coordinating maintenance and engineering activities. You'll work closely with customers, supervisors and technicians to ensure jobs are properly prepared, resourced and ready for successful execution.
This opportunity would suit someone already working in a service coordination, planning or supervisory role, or an experienced mechanical tradesperson looking to leverage their technical expertise in a broader capacity.
The Role
As a Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Conducting site surveys and developing maintenance scopes.
- Preparing quotations and maintenance proposals.
- Coordinating labour, materials, tooling and documentation.
- Planning upcoming maintenance activities and shutdown work.
- Working closely with customers, supervisors and technicians to ensure work is ready for execution.
- Monitoring job progress and maintaining internal systems and documentation.
- Providing technical guidance and support to field personnel.
- Assisting with diagnostics and maintenance recommendations for hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
One of the unique aspects of this role is the opportunity to remain involved in the delivery of work. Where desired, you may choose to schedule yourself as the execution lead on selected projects, allowing you to see a scope through from planning and preparation to execution, commissioning and completion.
While this is primarily a coordination and planning role, occasional hands-on field work may be required to support project delivery and customer requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Mechanical trade qualification.
- Experience in maintenance planning, service coordination, supervision or a similar industrial environment.
- Robust maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Hydraulic experience highly regarded.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple work scopes and priorities.
- A practical and customer-focused approach.
- Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
