What's it all about? Conveniently located in our Adelaide Branch in Woodville we are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join the team of staff responsible for servicing our customers' machine tools via warranty, preventative maintenance, and break-down repairs.

You'll be involved in all aspects of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fitting both within the workshop and our customers' places of business. You'll also be inspecting, commissioning, installing, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery.

You'll be in frequent contact with Hare & Forbes customers and will need to be well spoken and well presented.

We'll provide training and guidance, and you'll develop an extensive and impressive set of skills working with us.

What do you need to do in the role?

· Relevant Trade qualifications and experience in a similar role.

· Experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic fitting, with skills across a broad range of industrial and machine tools used in engineering and carpentry workshops.

· Ability to troubleshoot using your trade skills to determine machine faults and take corrective action.

· Positive attention to detail

· Minimum C class driver's license.

What will you be doing?

· Mechanical repair and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery.

· Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery.

· Preventative maintenance and servicing.

· Electrical & Mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.





· Workshop repairs and testing.

· Reporting on service work - input of information into company databases to grow customer service knowledge.

· Keeping detailed records of identified problems, processes to undertake repairs and parts required.

· Accurate time and record keeping

Other desirable skills that would be helpful but not essential

· Experience with electronics and PLCs.

· Confident in the use of computers and software

· Forklift licence

· Restricted Electrical licence

· Current First aid
