Role Description The Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on construction sites. The role includes planning and coordinating site activities, supervising site staff and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards.

The Site

Manager will manage site resources, monitor progress against project plans, and address operational issues to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This position also involves liaising with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, and supporting accurate reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong site management and supervision skills, including coordinating crews, subcontractor oversight, and day-to-day construction operations.
- Experience in civil construction or energy infrastructure projects, ideally involving underground cable works, sub-transmission, or transmission installations.
- Proven ability in project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress against timelines and budgets.
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, risk management, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in basic computer and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, site reporting systems) for documentation, records, and communication.
- Relevant trade or technical qualifications in construction, civil engineering, or a related discipline; additional site management or safety certifications are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, and team-based work practices within a construction or infrastructure workplace.
