We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to help our client build out their test automation and help keep releases fast and reliable. An experienced javascript/typescript engineer, you'll own automated testing end to end — from shaping test strategy against new requirements through to designing, building and maintaining the frameworks that catch problems before customers do.

What you'll do:

- Work across the full SDLC, translating requirements and user stories into solid test plans and test cases
- Collaborate and consult with software engineers to evaluate code testability and review product specs
- Design, build and maintain automated test suites covering UI, API and integration/regression testing
- Continuously improve and extend existing test automation frameworks
- Investigate test failures, document defects and track them to resolution

What you'll bring:





- 5+ years in software engineering and/or QA
- Exceptional JavaScript/TypeScript skills in Node and browser environments
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or a similar tool — ideally including building out a test framework, not just working within one
- Solid API test automation experience, plus a positive grip on REST, HTTP and general web/networking concepts
- Comfortable working in an AWS/CI environment
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

Nice to have:

- Experience testing across multiple platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android)
- Exposure to Electron, Cordova or Android device testing
- CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, Docker, Buildkite, Git)
