Marketing Lead (Casual / Part-Time / Contractor) - FinTech

We're a fast-growing Sydney-based FinTech looking for an experienced, energetic and hands-on Marketing Manager / Marketing Lead to take ownership of our marketing, communications and promotional activities as we continue to grow our FinTech business. The position can be structured as casual, part-time or contractor, with plenty of flexibility around hours and working arrangements.

What you'll do

- General marketing & promotions: Plan and execute campaigns across digital and offline channels to drive awareness and leads.
- PR & communications: Draft press releases, media pitches, and occasional customer-facing emails or newsletters.
- Digital & social media: Own our social presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), including content calendars, copy, visuals, and community engagement.
- Events & expos: End-to-end coordination of trade shows, networking events, and customer meetups - from booking and logistics to on-the-day execution.
- Web content: Create and update website copy, landing pages, blogs, and case studies to support campaigns and SEO.
- Ad hoc projects: Support product launches, partnership announcements, and other initiatives as the business scales.





What we're looking for

- Several years’ experience in a marketing generalist or marketing manager role (agency, startup, or FinTech/financial services background a plus).
- Proven track record across PR, digital marketing, social media, content creation, and event management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you can switch tone from a customer email to a media release with ease.
- Comfortable working autonomously, juggling multiple priorities, and hitting deadlines.
- Tech-savvy: familiar with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, basic CMS & ERP, and email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Based in Sydney and able to attend occasional in-person events/expos.
