About the Role

n

We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team, managing residential construction sites across Ipswich and Brisbane's western suburbs. Key duties will include:

- Coordinating, scheduling and monitoring the day to day performance of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring on site works are completed safely, efficiently, within budget and to a high standard of quality
n




- Reporting construction updates to Head Office through company online systems, including photos at relevant stages, maintaining job notes and meeting with the Construction Manager weekly
n
- Liaising with and managing the relationship with engineers, private certifiers and other consultants, including booking inspections and providing required lead notice
n
- Maintaining a safe worksite at all times, complying with applicable safety standards and completing all Hudson Homes safety documentation and records
n
- Keeping WHS documents current, including ensuring Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are up to date and signed by subcontractors and their workers before they start on site
n
- Managing the construction of up to 20 project home builds at any given time, ensuring each is completed on time, to a high standard of quality and on budget
n
- Overseeing quality assurance for each project, including completing progressive quality inspections and reports
n
- Picking up and dropping off materials as required, and ensuring purchases are backed by a purchase order
n
- Representing Hudson Homes professionally in all dealings with trades, suppliers and customers
n

Requirements

n

We are seeking a candidate who:

n

n
- Holds a current QBCC Supervisor licence
n
- Has previous experience supervising residential construction sites
n

n

Highly desirable:

n

n
- Holds a current Construction Induction (White Card)
n
- Holds a current driver's licence, with the ability to travel between construction sites across South East Queensland
n
