Who We Are

Motus Life is a health and performance studio in Kensington, Melbourne, built on a simple belief: no single practitioner, method, or tool is ever enough on its own to help someone reach their full potential. Since 2020, we've built a team based model - Osteopathy, Strength & Conditioning, Exercise Physiology, Reformer, Yoga, Recovery and Clinical Pilates working together around the person, not in isolation.

We're currently in a serious growth phase: scaling from ~100 members and 90 clinical appointments a week toward 200 members and 230 appointments within 12 months, on our way to a 3-year impact goal of reaching 4000 thousand people across Melbourne. Our marketing engine - paid lead generation, an Instagram and email nurture flow, and organic content - is bringing a strong, steady stream of interested people to our door. We need the right person to convert that interest into memberships and care.

The Role

n

This is a hybrid role: It can be done remotely, being in Melbourne is a preference. Part of doing this job well is being able to walk into our Kensington studio, feel what we've built, and sell it because you understand it - not because you've read about it. You'll also need the emotional capacity for this kind of work: our leads are often people dealing with pain, frustration, or a stalled sense of their own potential, and how you make them feel on that first call or chat is a big part of whether they trust us enough to start.

following up warm leads from our 21 Day Kick Start campaigns and other paid lead generation, booking consultations and trials, and converting enquiries into memberships and clinical bookings.

In-person

n

running studio tours, membership consultations, and sales conversations face-to-face at our Kensington studio - (note: face to face is a nice to have not a requirement).

Chat & social

n

converting conversations from Instagram and Facebook DMs,



replacing our ManyChat automation flow, and nurture email replies into booked appointments.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Respond promptly and warmly to inbound leads across phone, DM, and chat - within 5 minutes, not 5 hours
n
- Run in-person consultations and studio tours that reflect our team-based, whole-person model
n
- Convert nurture-sequence engagement (email replies, Instagram DM conversations) into booked trials and consultations
n
- Track and report on conversion rates across each channel, and help refine the follow-up process as we scale
n
- Represent Motus's culture and values in every interaction - you are often someone's first experience of who we are
n
- Work closely with our clinical and coaching team so handoffs from sales to care feel seamless for the client

Who You Are

n

n
- You ideally have some connection to or interest in health, fitness, or performance
n
- You're a confident, natural communicator on the phone, in person, and in writing - comfortable moving between all three in the same day
n
- You have genuine emotional intelligence: you can sit with someone's frustration or vulnerability about their body or their goals without rushing past it to close
n
- You've sold from a script before and are comfortable working within one - we have a proven sales process and need someone who can execute it consistently
n
- You're driven by results and comfortable with a commission structure that rewards you for converting well
n
- You want to be part of something being deliberately built, not just fill a seat - we're growing fast and looking for someone who wants to grow with us

Compensation

Base salary plus uncapped commission, structured around membership and clinical conversions.
