Maintenance Plumber & Gas Fitter | No Pressure Selling | Monthly RDO

Good money. Good work. Prices you can stand behind.

At AC Plumbing Qld, you'll do quality maintenance plumbing and gas work for customers who trust us, at prices you won't feel uncomfortable presenting.

You'll still quote, explain options and ask for the work. We want confident communicators. What we don't want is plumbers relying on pressure tactics to convince someone an unreasonable price is good value. We'd rather win the work through great service, quality workmanship and fair, sustainable pricing.

The Role

Residential maintenance, service and repair across Brisbane's northside

Fault-finding, leaks, gas fitting, hot water, blocked drains and relining.

Presenting quotes and options to customers on site

Monday to Friday, 7am start, early finish Fridays

Joining a team of 7 plumbers, backed by a dedicated office and operations team

What You'll Get

- $45–$60/hr + super + bonuses, based on experience and technical ability
- Fully maintained take-home work vehicle
- Monthly RDO (12 extra days off a year)
- Early-finish Fridays, around 1pm unless a job runs over
- Quality tools, equipment and systems
- Ongoing training to build your technical skills
- Quarterly team events and regular BBQ breakfasts
- At the top rate, that's around $133,000 a year including super, before bonuses.

About the Money

Some ads out there are offering bigger annual earnings,

and we won't pretend otherwise. Those rates have to be recovered somewhere, and it's usually the plumber in the customer's kitchen presenting the price.

If the highest possible hourly rate is your number-one priority, we're probably not the right fit. If you want good money, a life outside work, a solid team and prices you're comfortable putting in front of people, we think we've got something worth a look.

What You’ll Need

- Current QLD Plumbing and Drainage licence
- Current QLD Gas Work licence
- Strong maintenance, fault-finding and gas fitting experience
- Clear, skilled communication with customers
- Current driver's licence
- Pride in your work and respect for people's homes

About AC Plumbing Qld

AC Plumbing Qld is a second-generation, family-owned plumbing business servicing Brisbane's northside. My dad, George Stevens, started George Stevens Plumbing and Gasfitting in 1997. I took over in 2009 and we've traded as AC Plumbing Qld ever since.

A large part of our work comes from repeat customers who already know and trust us, and we want to keep it that way.

We're not the cheapest plumber in Brisbane, and we're not trying to be. We charge enough to pay people well, use good equipment and stand behind our work, without squeezing every dollar out of our customers.

Earn good money. Do good work. Treat people fairly. Go home proud of what you did.
