We’re currently looking for a compassionate, proactive support worker to assist a client in the Campbelltown area. About the Role:
We’re seeking a support worker to assist a client living with mental health challenges who is looking to build confidence, re-engage with the community, and work on daily living goals. The ideal worker will be someone calm, supportive, and proactive — with the emotional intelligence to build trust and help create secure, empowering routines. Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide respectful support with personal care and day-to-day routines Support community access (e.g., appointments, shopping, social outings) Use active listening, grounding, and reassurance strategies Promote independence — assist with, not for Encourage confidence, self-worth,
and small wins Be someone the client feels safe and heard with About You:
Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or related field, or ongoing degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Social Work Previous experience supporting clients with mental health challenges Strong communication and emotional intelligence NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module Valid First Aid & CPR certifications Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 Driver’s license (own car preferred) Why Work With Aura Assist?
