As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming and memorable in-store experience for every customer. You'll support the day-to-day operations of the store, build your product knowledge, contribute to sales targets and work alongside a passionate team that takes pride in representing the Ringers Western brand.

Key responsibilities Welcome customers and deliver friendly, genuine and knowledgeable service

Help customers find products that suit their needs, style and lifestyle

Develop strong knowledge of our products, pricing, features and availability

Identify natural opportunities to recommend additional products

Contribute to individual and store sales targets

Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits

Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally and promptly

Keep the store clean, organised and visually appealing

Assist with visual merchandising and product displays

Process sales, returns and exchanges accurately using the point-of-sale system

Receive, unpack, replenish and organise stock

Assist with stocktakes and inventory checks

Report stock shortages, discrepancies or other issues to the Store Manager

Follow store procedures and workplace health and safety requirements

Arrive prepared and on time for every rostered shift

Confidence working in a busy, quick-paced retail environment

Reliability, initiative and strong attention to detail

The ability to learn about our products and confidently engage with customers

Ability to stand for extended periods and complete physical tasks such as unpacking, replenishing and moving stock

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods

Previous retail, customer service or sales experience is highly regarded but not essential
