About Our School

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville is an exciting, new state-of-the-art, two stream Catholic Primary School, established in 2023. This name celebrates the founding religious order for our primary school, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

At Sacred Heart we have a committment to excellence in teaching and learning with great acadenic results, and experienced, porfessional staff. We have specialist teachers in Art, Sports, Music and Dance.

About You

As a Primary Sport Teacher,



you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning workplace. You'll bring:

- expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- experience in organising whole school sport, gala days and carnivals.
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
