Project Engineer - Process Plant

Location: Perth / Site
Roster: Monday-Friday

Seeking a Project Engineer with experience in mining or heavy industrial projects to support the delivery of process infrastructure packages from design through to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Support planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Manage process infrastructure packages including crushing plants, conveyors, transfer stations, and water infrastructure.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, construction teams, and stakeholders.
- Assist with procurement, tender evaluations, contract administration, progress claims, and variations.
- Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Resolve technical issues, design changes, and non-conformances.
- Monitor project progress, risks, costs, quality, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, constructability, and risk reviews.
- Provide regular project reporting and updates.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years' project engineering experience within mining, resources, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience delivering projects through planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Knowledge of:
- Crushing plants
- Conveyor systems
- Transfer stations




- Water infrastructure

- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and project interfaces.
- Understanding of SWMS, ITPs, inspections, permits, and quality systems.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within multidisciplinary teams.
