Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist – Orthopaedic Surgery

Salary: $223,136–$282,912 p.a. + super & benefits

About the Role

Join a supportive multidisciplinary orthopaedic team delivering elective & trauma services, clinics, ward rounds, outreach/telehealth and 1:7 consultant on-call. Work across varied subspecialties with solid operating, teaching & development opportunities. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver elective & trauma orthopaedic surgery

• Conduct clinics, ward rounds & on-call services

• Support regional outreach & telehealth

• Supervise junior doctors & trainees

• Contribute to teaching, research, audit & quality improvement

Essential Criteria

• MBBS/equivalent + FRACS Orthopaedic Surgery

• AHPRA specialist registration/eligibility





• Upper Limb fellowship strongly preferred

• Experience in shoulder, elbow, wrist & hand surgery

• Strong leadership, teamwork & communication skills

• 12.75% super + 17.5% leave loading

• $22,145 p.a. PD allowance + 3.6 weeks PD leave
