About Just Switch Just Switch is a fast-growing Australian comparison service helping customers make informed choices across health insurance, energy, and essential household services.

Based in our Melbourne headquarters, we are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Insurance Agent to support customers in understanding insurance products and selecting suitable coverage options. The Role As a full-time Insurance Agent, you will work directly with clients to assess their insurance needs, research available products, provide accurate information, and arrange suitable insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess clients’ insurance needs through structured discussions and fact-finding processes.
- Research and review available insurance products to identify suitable options for each client. Explain policy terms, conditions, coverage limits, risks covered, premium rates, waiting periods, exclusions, and benefits. Prepare recommendations based on clients’ circumstances and insurance requirements.
- Arrange insurance policies on behalf of clients in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation outlining policy conditions and relevant product details.



Analyse client circumstances and identify any significant changes in risk profiles requiring policy updates or alternative cover.
- Ensure all client interactions and recommendations are compliant with industry and regulatory standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, product knowledge, and client experience.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1 year experience in insurance, finance, or a related advisory role.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and client needs analysis.
- Ability to explain complex policy details clearly and confidently.
- High attention to detail, particularly regarding regulatory and compliance obligations.
- Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable researching insurance product variations and preparing suitability-based recommendations.
- Experience using CRM systems or client documentation software.
