About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Spray Painters and Industrial Sandblasters to join a leading Australian heavy transport equipment manufacturer based in Melbourne’s West.

These are long-term, temp-to-perm positions offering great pay, predictable daytime hours, and an unbeatable work-life balance with regular long weekends.

Key Responsibilities

For Industrial Spray Painters:

- Application of 2-pack industrial paints, primers, and topcoats on heavy commercial vehicles and structural steel

- Surface preparation, masking, and wipe-down

- Maintaining spray equipment, pressure pots, and booth clean-downs

- Quality control inspections to ensure smooth, high-spec finishes

For Industrial Sandblasters:

- Abrasive blast cleaning of large steel fabrications, chassis, and heavy transport components

- Surface prep in line with specified profile and cleanliness standards

- Operating and maintaining blasting pots,



hoses, nozzles, and blast booth equipment

- Adhering strictly to heavy-duty industrial safety standards

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or Industrial Sandblaster (trade qualification highly regarded, but solid industry experience is essential)

- Experience working on heavy transport, chassis, trailers, structural steel, or large machinery

- Strong understanding of surface prep, paint systems, and abrasive media

- High attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Full Australian working rights and reliable transport
