About the role

Keith Crawleys Industrial and Rural Supplies is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Chinchilla, QLD store. This is a full-time position based at our Chinchilla QLD 4413 location.

As Store

Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation, performance, and profitability of the store, whilst creating an engaging shopping environment for our customers and fostering a productive team culture. This role is critical to delivering exceptional service and maintaining our reputation as a trusted supplier of industrial and rural products in the region.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and store cleanliness to ensure a professional retail environment
- Lead, motivate, and manage store staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling to build a high-performing team
- Drive sales performance and achieve store targets through effective merchandising, customer service excellence, and promotional activities
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimise wastage and ensure product availability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to inform business improvements

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role within retail or consumer products, ideally in industrial, rural, or hardware retail sectors
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and improving store profitability
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively




- Sound knowledge of inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale (POS) software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Valid driver's licence is preferred
- Experience in the industrial, rural, or agricultural supply sector would be highly advantageous
