About the Client

Our client is an international specialty retailer sitting at the intersection of sport, streetwear and licensed fashion, with a product range built around some of the world’s most recognisable sporting teams and cultural influences.

With a brand-new Mt Gravatt store opening in October, they are looking for a Store Manager to lead the launch, build the team and create a high-energy store workplace from day one.

Whether you’re a seasoned Store Manager who genuinely loves the product category or a newer Store Manager at the beginning of your leadership journey, there is flexibility to consider the right person.

About the role

Leading a team of approximately five, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day performance and culture of the store.

You will

- Recruit, lead, coach and motivate a new retail team
- Help establish the store culture from opening day
- Create an energetic and engaging customer experience
- Drive performance and keep the team focused on daily goals
- Maintain strong visual merchandising and presentation standards
- Manage stock, replenishment and day-to-day store operations
- Support rostering, training and team development
- Connect with customers who genuinely love sport, streetwear and the product

What you’ll bring

- Previous retail leadership experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or strong 2IC
- Confidence leading, motivating and developing a small team
- A hands-on approach and love of being on the shop floor
- Strong customer service and communication skills




- Valuable operational capability across stock, merchandising and daily store routines
- Energy, personality and the ability to create a great team environment
- A genuine interest in sport, streetwear, sneakers, fashion or pop culture will be highly regarded

We’re open to different levels of experience. You could be an accomplished Store Manager looking for a fun product category and fresh challenge, or an emerging Store Manager looking for the opportunity to put your own stamp on a store. What’s in it for you?
