Australian Drafting & Design is seeking an experienced

AutoCAD / Inventor Drafter

for a full-time contract role with an established client in Brisbane.

The position will involve preparing, updating and modifying

mechanical, fabrication and manufacturing drawings , as well as assisting with new designs and drawing revisions.

The work will include producing detailed fabrication drawings, updating existing drawings, preparing documentation for manufacture and creating

DXF files

for suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong

AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor

experience

Mechanical or fabrication drafting experience

Experience with

sheet metal and fabricated components

Ability to prepare accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings





Experience creating and exporting

DXF files

Good understanding of workshop and fabrication practices

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with engineers and project personnel

Experience within

mining, heavy industry, mechanical equipment, fabrication or machinery

would be highly regarded.

The role offers a

flexible working arrangement for Brisbane-based candidates , depending on experience and project requirements.

The position is initially for

6 months, with strong potential for ongoing work .
