About the role Artilux is looking for a practical installer or maintenance technician who wants stable, permanent employment.

This role would suit someone with around one to two years’ hands‑on experience fitting, installing, servicing or repairing household or building products.

Previous retractable-screen experience isn’t required - we’ll provide full training in our products and installation methods. You should already be confident using tools, measuring accurately and completing neat work in customers’ homes.

This is an employee position - not subcontract or casual work.

Key responsibilities

Install custom‑made retractable and pleated screens

Complete service and repair work when required

Work predominantly across Sydney’s South, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West

Attend our Hornsby factory twice weekly for materials and toolbox meetings

Communicate professionally with customers in their homes

Complete job updates and reports using an iPad

Work closely with our installation, factory and office teams

About you

Previous hands‑on installation, fitting, maintenance or handyperson experience

Confident using hand and power tools

Able to measure accurately and solve practical problems

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently once trained





Professional and comfortable dealing with customers

Comfortable travelling across the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Southern Sydney

Able to attend our Hornsby factory twice weekly

Current Australian driver licence

Australian working rights

Experience with windows, doors, screens, blinds, awnings, shutters, cabinetry, glazing, shopfitting or similar products would be highly regarded.

What we offer

$70,000–$80,000 + super , depending on experience and capability

On‑site work generally from 7:00am to approximately 3:00pm

Daily work and travel scheduled to keep workloads manageable

Support from an experienced installation, production and office team

We schedule each day to keep the workload and travel manageable. Installers generally finish around 3:00pm, although they’re expected to complete the day’s scheduled work, so finishing times may occasionally vary.
