Lawson Elliott Recruitment is partnering with a well-recognised organisation experiencing significant growth and seeking a confident and experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join its team on a fixed-term basis for a 12 month fixed-term contract.

You will play an important role in supporting the organisation through its continued growth and helping drive payroll operations to the next level.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
Managing end-to-end payroll processing across the business
n
Ensuring payroll is accurate, timely and compliant with relevant legislation
n
Processing superannuation, terminations, payroll tax and employee expenses
n
Completing payroll, balance sheet and payment reconciliations
n
Preparing weekly, month-end and ad-hoc payroll reports
n
Maintaining accurate payroll records
n
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
n
Managing the Payroll inbox and respond to queries
n
Ad-hoc duties as required
n
Ideal Candidate:
n
3+ years' experience in a Senior Payroll Officer or similar role
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Strong time management and organisational skills
n
The ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
n
A collaborative approach, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
n
Experience working with HRIS and time & attendance systems
