You will deliver and assess transmission-related training, including programs associated with Certificate II and Certificate III transmission qualifications, individual UET units and project-specific competency requirements. A significant part of the role will involve ensuring training and assessment is delivered to a high standard and supported by appropriate evidence. You will take responsibility for the full training and assessment process—not simply delivering course content.

Delivering and assessing nationally recognised transmission training
n
Working across relevant UET transmission units and qualifications
n
Conducting practical training and workplace assessments
n
Reviewing logbooks and workplace evidence
n
Conducting gap assessments and competency-based training
n
Maintaining complete and defensible assessment evidence
n
Ensuring assessment decisions meet RTO and regulatory requirements
n
Working with Ironbark's compliance team on training and assessment resources
n
Supporting continuous improvement and validation
n
Working with clients and supervisors on major transmission projects
n
About you
n
Extensive experience in transmission line construction and/or maintenance
n
Strong knowledge across transmission-related UET units of competence
n
Current training and assessment credentials that meet RTO requirements
n
Demonstrated experience as a Trainer and Assessor
n
Strong understanding of RTO compliance and assessment evidence requirements
n
Experience assessing competency in workplace and project environments
n
Excellent understanding of safe work practices within the electricity supply industry
n
Solid written documentation and record-keeping skills
n
Ability to communicate confidently with workers, supervisors, project management and RTO compliance staff
