Senior Health & Safety Advisor - North Shore The Company: A progressive property development and construction company, this Sydney-based business is known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects.

With a growing portfolio across co-living, student accommodation and build-to-rent developments, they are now looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the team and support a number of high-end projects across Sydney.

You’ll be working closely with one of Australia’s highly regarded HSE Managers, giving you the opportunity to be part of a growing business and play a key role in developing their HSE function.

This is something a little different in the Sydney market - an opportunity to be part of something new, exciting and growing from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day HSE support across active construction projects

Build strong relationships with employees, subcontractors and key stakeholders

Manage and develop HSE processes and initiatives across projects





Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions

Provide guidance and support around HSE legislation and compliance

Maintain a robust understanding of Australian Standards and applicable legislation

Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture across the project

About You:

Minimum

Cert IV in WHS/OH&S;

3+ years’ experience in an HSE role within the Class 2 / residential construction space

Commercial new build experience will also be considered

Previous experience working for a

head contractor is essential

Strong understanding of current WHS/OH&S; legislation and Australian Standards

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Confident dealing with site teams, subcontractors and management

Professional and presentable

Someone who is proactive, approachable and willing to take ownership
